From Spoken Word to Concert Stage
Fountain Street Church's Sound Transformation

Fountain Street Church has been a cornerstone of Grand Rapids' arts and culture scene since 1924, hosting legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and U2 along the way, but its aging sound system wasn't keeping pace with its legacy.

After years of renting temporary rigs for larger events, the church partnered with LiveSpace AVL to install a permanent, concert-grade audio system that delivers powerful sound without disrupting the building's stunning historic interior.

Terrivita: Where Audio Meets Architecture

Terravita Downtown required a sound system that could hold its own in a 3,600-square-foot space without competing with the design. K-array line array speakers mounted to columns and upper walls, subwoofers recessed into custom banquettes, and a dedicated private dining room configuration deliver uniform coverage throughout: elegant by design, powerful by necessity.
