Amp-to-Speaker Matching Calculator
Enter speakers per zone. It picks the amplifiers, channel assignments and speaker impedance settings from the K-array matching table.

Type part of a model name to filter the list. Variants like KY52M, GH4RM or KP52W I find their base model automatically.
How it decides
- Each amp channel carries one speaker model from one zone (one preset, one volume).
- L/R zones put the left and right halves on separate channels. "Subs mono" keeps subwoofers on a summed channel.
- For each speaker it tries every impedance setting the table allows and picks the one that needs the fewest channels.
- Full-range can only be ticked for models that have a full-range preset: GH4, KO102, KP52 I, KP102 I, KY52, KY102, GF162 I and GH8. Full-range lines go on 4-channel amps only, except the GH4, whose full-range preset also runs on 8-channel amps.
- Bi-amp and bridged (PBTL) entries use two adjacent channels per speaker.
- Lowest cost (default): each speaker starts on the least powerful amp family that runs it at optimal. It only moves speakers to a bigger amp when that lowers the total cost, for example by filling spare channels instead of buying another amp.
- Cost follows this order, cheapest first: KA02 I, KA04, KA14 I, KA34 = KA18, KA28, KA104, KA68, KA208. Two cheaper amps can still lose to one bigger amp, for example one KA28 costs less than two KA14 I.
- 8-channel amps are two 4-channel modules (ch 1–4 and 5–8). After the amps are chosen, channels are rearranged inside each 8-channel amp so subwoofers and bi-amp/bridged speakers are split evenly between the modules. This never changes the amp count.
- Rearranging: drag a channel and drop it between two others in the same amp to insert it there (a blue line shows where it will land). Changes stay inside that amp, so loads and power are unchanged. Bi-amp and bridged pairs move together. "Reset" puts the amp back to the calculated order.
- Fewest amplifiers: minimizes the number of amps, then cost.
Subwoofers needed
Please be sure to specify subwoofers - these products are not full-range and require a subwoofer to perform properly.
