Gymreapers Wodapalooza

Gymreapers Wodapalooza 2026 returned as one of the largest fitness festivals in the world, bringing more than 40,000 attendees and over 2,000 athletes to a four-day event on Miami Beach. The program featured elite competitions, live workouts, DJ sets and seminars across a multi-zone outdoor layout.

Covering two separate main stage areas in this setting presented a unique set of challenges for sound system design:

  • Open-air beachfront environment with no acoustic containment

  • High ambient noise from crowds, wind, and surrounding activity

  • Large, distributed audience areas requiring consistent coverage

  • Exposure to humidity, salt air, and outdoor conditions

  • Need for clear speech intelligibility for announcements and judging to deliver consistent, intelligible audio across the site while supporting continuous programming throughout the event.

To address these requirements, Maxon Productions deployed two Firenze systems, selected for their output capability, controlled dispersion, and suitability for touring and live event applications.

Each System included:

The Firenze systems provided even coverage across the primary audience areas, with speech remaining intelligible during competition calls and announcements. Booming DJ sets kept the energy levels high and Low-frequency reinforcement from the KS3P subwoofers delivered deep, tight bass without overpowering vocals or program material. The system’s compact form factor allowed for quick setup and adjustment throughout the event schedule.

Over the course of the event, the system operated consistently, supporting continuous programming without interruption.
