Sha
Since opening in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District in 2022, Sha has established itself as a destination where Asian-European cuisine meets lush garden landscapes and a design-forward atmosphere. The restaurant’s blend of elevated dining and sustainability has made it a must-visit for both locals and visitors.
Live music and entertainment became integral to the experience, and the owners turned to Davel of D.R.V.C.S. Productions to ensure the audio system matched the high standards set by Sha’s food and design. The system needed to deliver concert-grade sound reinforcement while keeping the system invisible to guests. For this, they turned to Davel Rodriguez of DRVCS AV Consulting, who recommended K-array’s Pinnacle-KR802 II system to provide balanced, full-range coverage throughout the venue.
The KR802 II is a portable audio solution that delivers the power and precision needed for a dynamic venue. The system includes four Kayman-KY102 stainless steel line array elements with 4" drivers, paired with two Thunder-KS4 subwoofers, one passive and one powered, to provide full-range sound that can easily adapt to different performance setups.
With K-array’s K-framework3 software, operators have full control over system design and management via a wired LAN, ensuring reliable performance across a range of applications. For Sha, this means their audio can easily scale from intimate acoustic nights to larger live acts.
“The KR802 II allows us to bring in serious sound without disrupting the look and feel of the restaurant,” said Davel. “It’s portable, powerful, and discreet, exactly what a venue like Sha needs.”
The result is a hospitality experience where dining, design, and live music work in harmony, reinforcing Sha’s reputation as one of Wynwood’s most unique cultural destinations.
