Coastal New Jersey Estate
When a homeowner in New Jersey set out to elevate the sound experience of their oceanfront estate, they weren’t looking to simply add more volume; they wanted clarity, balance, and design harmony. The property, used for high-end summer entertaining, features expansive outdoor spaces that include a pool, patio, deck, and gym. The existing audio system relied on a large number of speakers and subwoofers, yet still struggled with uneven coverage and a cluttered appearance. The homeowner wanted a cleaner, more powerful solution that could handle the demands of large gatherings without overwhelming the landscape.
iTec Consultants partnered with K-array to design a system that delivered professional-level audio while blending naturally into the environment. In total, the installation included more than 20 loudspeakers and 8 subwoofers powered by multiple K-array amplifiers, installed strategically across the property for even, full-range coverage. The product mix included models from K-array’s Kommander, Vyper, Python, Kayman, and Rumble lines and KGEAR GH line, selected for their ability to deliver wide dispersion in slim, architecturally subtle enclosures.
Coastal installations demand more than sound quality. Salt, humidity, and shifting temperatures create harsh conditions for audio equipment. Several system components were supplied in custom marine-grade finishes to withstand the salt air and humidity. Some outdoor speakers were installed directly in the sand, demonstrating the rugged adaptability of the system to both the landscape and environmental demands.

The new audio design replaced a cluttered set of speakers with a streamlined system that provides smooth, even coverage across multiple outdoor zones and the home gym. The result is powerful, balanced sound that enhances the property’s atmosphere while preserving its clean architectural lines.
