Crestron Experience Center

The new Crestron Experience Center in Midtown Manhattan highlights how Crestron Control Systems work with leading technology partners. As part of the build, K-array speakers and amplifiers were integrated to deliver high-performance audio throughout the space.

The Experience Center is designed to show clients and integrators what’s possible when advanced control meets reliable technology. For the audio component, Crestron required a solution that could deliver power and clarity while fitting into a modern, design-focused environment.

Crestron selected the Vyper-KV102R II line array recessed column speakers and Rumble-KU210 subwoofers, powered by a Kommander-KA14 I amplifier. The slim Vyper speakers provide a nearly invisible profile suited to the space, while the compact Rumble subs add low-frequency depth without taking up visible space.

Integration was strengthened through the new K-array Crestron plug-in, which gives integrators and end users direct control of K-array amplifiers through Crestron interfaces. Users can:

  • Adjust amplifier output levels

  • Power devices on or off

  • Manage integrated media players

  • Select sources

  • Mute individual input/output channels

The Experience Center now demonstrates:

  • Rich, dynamic audio for presentations and demos

  • Unified control of K-array amplifiers through Crestron systems

  • Clean design with audio components that complement the space

  • Practical tools for integrators to implement K-array solutions in future projects

By integrating K-array’s loudspeakers and amplifiers with Crestron control, the Experience Center delivers an audio experience that is powerful, refined, and easy to manage, showcasing how the two technologies work together in real-world applications.
