Super Bowl LVII
KGEAR and K-array Power the Sound of Super Bowl LVII
When FOX Sports took the stage for its live Super Bowl LVII broadcast in Glendale, Arizona, clear and consistent sound was essential for both in-person and at-home audiences. Longtime K-array partner CP Communications once again relied on Pinnacle Systems and KGEAR solutions to create a seamless, high-impact audio environment worthy of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
The team designed a flexible, open-air broadcast studio that delivered pristine sound for thousands of fans gathered around the set, and millions more tuning in worldwide.
At the heart of the design was the Anakonda, a nearly invisible loudspeaker that served as a discreet yet powerful foldback monitor for the live studio audience. Its flexible form allowed for easy integration into the set while maintaining full sonic coverage and clarity.
Making its debut for this year’s broadcast, the KGEAR GH12 brought next-level performance to the production. Engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications, the GH12 is a passive 12” coaxial speaker housed in a weather-resistant stainless-steel cabinet, delivering exceptional intelligibility and control through its cardioid dispersion pattern.
With the power of K-array’s engineering and CP Communications’ expertise, Super Bowl LVII’s broadcast audio was as dynamic and precise as the game itself.
