Brooklyn Chop House
Brooklyn Chop House Miami has officially opened its doors in the heart of the iconic Wynwood neighborhood. This expansive culinary destination, situated within the Moxy Miami Wynwood, features a rooftop bar and offers stunning city views. Founded in New York by Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins, David Thomas, and Stratis Morfogen, its vision is bold yet focused: reinvent the classic steakhouse through Asian flavors, while weaving in music and cultural cues that turn dinner into an immersive experience.
Acoustics play an important role in restaurant design. In prominent venues like Brooklyn Chop House, where the ambiance is shaped by the sounds of clinking glasses, animated conversations, and live music, a poorly set-up sound system can detract from the overall experience. K-array’s sleek, minimalist designs deliver exceptional audio quality while seamlessly integrating into the restaurant’s decor, preserving both the soundscape and the design aesthetic.
To ensure even coverage throughout the restaurant, DRVCS AV designed and integrated a bespoke K-array sound system. A combination of Python KP52 I speakers and Thunder KS2P I and KS3P I subwoofers were chosen to optimize acoustic performance across the restaurant's different architectural spaces, addressing specific challenges such as high ceilings, open floor plans, and multiple seating areas. K-array's advanced Pure Array Technology guarantees uniform audio, allowing guests at all distances to enjoy clear sound without disruption.
Davel Rodriguez from DRVCS AV explained that the sound system installation at Brooklyn Chop House required both technical precision and thoughtful integration.
"We used K-array's advanced technology to create a sound environment that enhances the restaurant's atmosphere and complements the interior design," Rodriguez noted.
At Brooklyn Chop House, music won’t be background noise; it will stand alongside the menu, channeling co-owner Don Pooh’s legacy in hip-hop. Combined with the bold art of Wynwood and the inventive cuisine of Brooklyn Chop House, the soundscape will keep the space pulsing from dinner through late night.
