TIAA Frisco Corporate Center

The new TIAA Frisco Corporate Center is designed to support collaboration, focus, and flexibility across a wide range of work environments. From open common areas and a full-service cafeteria to executive meeting rooms and board-level spaces, the building required an AV strategy that could scale across functions while remaining visually discreet and easy to manage.

McCann Systems was brought in to design and deploy an integrated AV system that would unify sound and lighting across the building, reduce system complexity, and support long-term standardization. The project brings together two brands of the K-array ecosystem, K-array and KSCAPE, within a single, cohesive framework.

The project was organized into three primary zones: common areas, cafeteria, and the 15th-floor executive level. Each zone uses a unique system design while remaining part of a unified AV ecosystem.

Common Areas Installed Equipment

These spaces required background audio and paging across large, open floor plans. Compact loudspeakers and multiple subwoofers were selected to maintain consistent coverage without drawing attention to the system itself. The result is a cohesive sound environment that supports focus, circulation, and day-to-day workplace activity.

Cafeteria Installed Equipment

In the cafeteria, sound and light are combined into a single linear element using KSCAPE RAIL. Tunable lighting allows the space to shift throughout the day, while integrated audio supports everything from informal dining to larger gatherings. By merging functions into one system, the design minimizes visible hardware and simplifies installation.

15th-Floor Executive Level

Executive Boardroom Installed Equipment

Integrated sound and lighting provide a controlled, adaptable environment suited for presentations, conferencing, and executive discussions. Wireless control allows easy adjustments without introducing additional wall hardware.

Meeting Spaces Installed Equipment

Smaller meeting rooms mirror the executive boardroom in a smaller footprint, maintaining consistency in performance and control.

The entire K-array system at TIAA was designed as a single, interoperable ecosystem that supports the building as a whole. Compact loudspeakers deliver the required output without adding visual weight, while KSCAPE RAIL fixtures integrate sound and lighting into one modern fixture. This integrated approach simplified installation and provides consistent audio across all floors and room types. Coordinated sound and lighting contribute to workplace comfort, and the scalable system creates a foundation that can be extended to future TIAA facilities.
